The Information Standard
The Information Standard is a certification scheme run by NHS England for organisations which provide health and social care information for the public. Research conducted by the Department of Health has shown that eight out of ten people have tried to find health information online, but most were unsure as to what information they could trust. The Information Standard logo provides a quick and easy way to identify high-quality, reliable health and social care information. Many NHS Trusts and charities are members of the scheme.
EDS UK is proud to have been accredited since 2015. This means that we have undergone a rigorous assessment to check that our information is accurate, evidence-based, up-to-date, balanced and clear.
